Costumes and Class Uniforms
I understand that costumes for our end of the year show and class uniforms/shoes are not included in the price of tuition.
In order for your dancer to participate in our annual shows at the Chrysler Theatre, a costume payment needs to be made in full by November 1st of each year. Information regarding costumes will be given to each family in the fall. These costumes are not rentals, they are for you to keep. Small adjustments may have to be made by the child’s parent/guardian such as sewing straps at the appropriate length.
All uniform guidelines will be followed in the studio. Please see our dance attire page for more information.
Tuition
All tuition will be paid by Pre-Authorized Debits (PAD) unless you are paying for the year in full. Tuition is based on a yearly cost and can be paid in three ways:
If you choose to pay by this method (Payment Plan C) and we don’t receive your payment by the specified date, we will withdraw tuition in accordance with Payment Plan A monthly until the tuition is paid in full. Failure to pay could result in your child forfeiting their class spot.
Other payments not included in tuition such as costume deposits/payments, show tickets, merchandise, summer camps, etc., can be paid by e-transfer to billing@edmundstowers.com.
If a PAD is returned or marked as NSF, a $35 service charge will be applied to your account.
Please see dropping and unenrolling for more information on refunds for dropped classes.
Class Scheduling
Edmunds Towers will handle all class scheduling including but not limited to student placement, class length, day and time, class size, and studio room. Scheduling is subject to change in all regards, including cancelations, due to health guidelines, our professional experience, registration and attendance.
Correct class placement of your dancer is important for the growth of your child’s ability. As such, the faculty or owners may suggest a class change for your dancer depending on their ability, focus, attendance, or experience. If a change is necessary, we will contact you to work out a class better suited for your dancer.
Missed Classes, Holidays and Closures
Tuition will not be refunded for missed classes, vacation or illness.
We follow the general school year and will be closed for two weeks at Christmas, March Break, and we observe all statutory holidays and will not be open on those days. Classes may also be cancelled due to Halloween depending on what day of the week it falls on. Please see the office for more information.
Snow Day cancellations are posted on our Edmunds Towers Facebook and Instagram. A text message will also be sent to the entire studio informing you of any closures.
Dropping Classes and Unenrolling
Billing of your account will continue until the office receives written notification of your intent to drop a class or unenroll (telling your teacher verbally is not sufficient). Once a pre-authorized payment has gone through there will be no refunds given out for that particular month.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy
To help keep our studio safe and organized for all families, we ask that students be dropped off and picked up promptly at their scheduled class times.
Drop-Off
For our younger dancers, parents/guardians are required to come into the studio to drop off their child before class begins. We kindly ask that families do not double park in front of the studio. To help keep traffic flowing safely and avoid congestion, please park your vehicle when dropping off your child.
Pick-Up
Parents/guardians should be present in the studio and ready for pick-up when class has ended. We understand dancers may need a few extra minutes to gather their belongings before leaving the classroom.
If a delay is unavoidable, please notify the studio as soon as possible. Repeated late pick-ups may result in a late pick-up fee. This policy is in place to help ensure the safety and proper supervision of all dancers.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us create a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone in our studio community.
Sick Protocol
If your child is not feeling well, especially if they are presenting a fever, we encourage you to keep your child home so as to not spread ailments in the studio. We do not offer make up classes for missed lessons.
