Dance Season Overview

At Edmunds Towers School of Dance, our season runs from September through June. Throughout the year, dancers build skills, friendships, and confidence while working toward performances, exams, and special studio events.

Below is an overview of what families can expect during the dance season.

September

Welcome Back
Our dance season begins!

September 1st tuition installment withdrawn (Plan A)
First semester and yearly tuition due Sept 1 (Plans B & C)
Classes begin the 2nd Monday after Labour Day: September 15th

October

Costume Month
Performance planning!

October 1st tuition installment withdrawn
Student of the Month & Happiness Awards presented
Dance Card classes begin October 6th
The studio will be closed Thanksgiving Monday: October 13th
Week before Halloween students may wear costumes to class
Measurements begin for June show costumes
Year-end show costume fees will be sent to all families

November

Final steps for costumes!

November 1st tuition installment withdrawn
Student of the Month & Empathy Awards presented
Costume fees due before costume orders are placed in December

December

Holiday Season
A festive time at the studio!

December 1st tuition installment withdrawn
Student of the Month & Team Player Awards presented
Nutcracker performances December 5th – 7th
Pajama / Cozy Week before winter break
Studio will be closed Dec 22nd – Jan 4th
Year-end show costumes are ordered from manufacturers. Once orders are submitted, refunds cannot be issued

The studio will be closed on Good Friday, April 3rd. Saturday and Easter Monday classes run as usual
