Performance Companies

Our Performance Companies introduce dancers to the exciting world of teamwork and stage performance. This program is the perfect opportunity for students from our recreational classes to experience the joy and challenge of competitive dance, with fewer time and financial commitments than our full competitive program.

To be eligible, all members must be enrolled in ballet, tap, and jazz classes and be a minimum of 5 years of age.

In addition to their regular dance classes, Performance Company members attend a one and half-hour class each week focused on flexibility, technique, energy, and stage presence. This time is also used to learn and rehearse three choreographed routines that will be performed and competed throughout the season.

While our focus is on providing dancers more opportunities to perform and grow, the benefits extend far beyond the stage. Through our team programs, dancers develop self-discipline, self-expression, responsibility, and camaraderie—qualities that serve them both in dance and in life.

Performance Company Levels:

• Micro Mini Performance Company: Age 5
• Mini Performance Company: Ages 6–8
• Junior Performance Company: Ages 9–10
• Intermediate Performance Company: Ages 11-12
• Teen Performance Company: Ages 13–14
• Senior Performance Company: Ages 15 & up
